THADEUS GONZALEZ

Absolute Rocker. Bay Area Original. High-Energy Performer.
Thadeus Gonzalez is a powerhouse rock vocalist and guitarist hailing from the San Francisco/Oakland Bay Area. A product of the local scene and a longtime listener of KSJO and Live 105, he picked up guitar and piano at age 9 and played his first gig in 8th grade—singing and shredding live during lunch.
After fronting several bands, he gained early acclaim with Electric Sister and their raw, unapologetic debut The Lost Art of Rock n Roll (2011). As a solo artist, Thadeus has consistently evolved his sound, starting with Utopian Society (2014), followed by the heavier Silver Inside (2018), and the introspective Opposite Faces (2021) on Rebel Waves Records.
In April 2024, he dropped his most personal and stripped-down album yet—Street Fights Are Starting To Hurt—a gritty collection of acoustic-rooted songs reflecting life’s internal and external conflicts. One of the standout tracks, “My Friends Are All Crazy,” was brought to life with a vibrant music video shot in Panajachel, Guatemala.
Thadeus also recently released a hard-hitting cover of the Phil Collins classic “I Don’t Care Anymore” as a stand-alone single, accompanied by a moody and dynamic visual that showcases his raw vocal intensity and emotional range.
With multiple US tours, two UK runs, SXSW showcases, and a growing catalog of compelling music videos, Thadeus continues to carve out his place in the modern rock world. Whether in the studio or on stage, he brings raw energy, vulnerability, and a relentless dedication to the art of rock.
